Методология: Методология: Матерей или лиц, осуществляющих уход за детьми в возрасте до пяти лет, спрашивают, не было ли у ребенка диареи в какой-либо момент за последние две недели. Если у ребенка действительно была диарея, его дополнительно спрашивают, применялся ли раствор для пероральной регидратации (ОРС). Методология: Methodology: Mothers or caregivers of children under five years old are asked whether the child experienced diarrhea at any point in the past two weeks. If the child did have diarrhea, they are further asked whether Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) was administered. The term "diarrhea," as defined by the DHS, should include all forms of diarrhea, such as bloody stools (indicative of dysentery), watery stools, and other variations. This definition encompasses both the mother's understanding and locally-used terms.

Ограничения: The indicator does not assess the severity of the diarrhea.
